Development Northwest has extensive experience in the development and management of shopping centres, downtown and suburban office buildings, and mixed-use projects in western Canada and the western United States. Over the years, Northwest Properties has gained a large degree of in-house expertise in all facets of the development process. Our dedication to maintaining a high level of in-house construction knowledge and first class retail leasing capabilities has been the cornerstone of the company's corporate policy. Northwest's ability to pick the right location and site is well recognized and exemplified by the company's development of the first "Class A" office building in Calgary's "Beltline", as well as the locations of its shopping centres, many of which produce above average sales. In addition, management's ability to successfully navigate through very difficult regulatory processes has been widely acknowledged. Property Management In managing the company's own properties and the properties of its clients and joint venture partners, Northwest Properties employs the most up to date systems and reporting formats. Central to the company's success is its hands on management approach and the dedication to achieve the highest possible occupancy levels and sales performance. In addition to the day-to-day management of it's property portfolio, Northwest have demonstrated the ability to balance the ongoing operation of a shopping centre throughout the duration of redevelopment construction activities. Ensuring the ongoing success of our retail partners and the comfort of our shoppers is a key focus of our property management team.
